I'm not sure it will work, and I'm sure I'll keep tweaking it, but I'll give you an overview. If any bits sound interesting, let me know. I'll get the link(s) for the page(s) and give them to you. I found many different free printables, printed them all out singly, then ran double-sided copies. I'm trying to learn the programs on my computer so I can figure out how to import all my pdf pages, format it there, and just hit print, but I'm not that sophisticated yet! Lol.

The first page is a double sided year at a glance, one side for birthdays/events and the other for science topics, because we do science through library book reading only, and it's completely interest led. Still, though, I feel better having a plan.

Each month has a page for planning that month's birthdays/celebrations/holidays, followed by a 2 page monthly view. Then I put in a habit tracker and a daily gratitude page. There's a blank side in there, so I put in a brain dump checklist.

I like having a weekly overview as well as daily, so each month has both. The weekly section has a schedule overview, a meal plan and shopping list for the following week, and a diet and exercise tracker for the current week. Then, each week has daily pages, with a pretty journal page at the end, to fill in the blank spot and to be a place to write book titles, quotes musings, or ITTisms from that week.

The whole thing is summed up with a year in review page. I'm too cheap to print in color, so I print it all b&w or grayscale, then use colored pens and pencils to fill it in.

I'm working on a seasonal event planner and a school planner, but I haven't made much progress on them yet. I'm ridiculously pleased with my schedule planner, though!

Unfortunately, I have to get groceries today, so school time is already squeezed, and we just had a break...Sometimes I wish I could be more spontaneous, but I wouldn't enjoy it because I'd feel guilty.

Thank you!  I asked because I like seeing how people organize themselves -- never know when I might learn something!  You have given a very good description, one I can picture in my mind quite readily.  It looks like a very good system, too.

When I have some time I'll likely try implementing much of this in one of my discbound notebooks, to give it a try.  Thanks for sharing!

Good morning, lovelies! Woke up to no heat and snow outside, so I'll be calling my landlord and doing none of the things I had planned, so I can be here when he has time to show up today. In the meantime, the electric heater is taking the chill off the den, so we'll be wrapped in blankets and doing lessons, stories, and Lego building in there. Maybe we'll make cookies again. And breadsticks. And other bake-able things.

I made a planner! No one planner ever quite fits, so I found pages online that I liked, cobbled together a workable format, and printed my own. I have it in a 3 ring binder, but if I really like it after a few months, I'll go get it spiral bound at Staples.

I also realized I really do like planning as much as (more than?) executing the plans. ?

    What are your plans today?

Sorry about the cold!  I hope your landlord can get there quickly and fix the problem with no hassles.

Would you care to share what you found works for you planner-wise?

Today is a Dad day for me.  I take him to a bank today to set up local bank accounts.  After we get those set up I can start the process to transfer his direct deposits from his Colorado bank accounts down to here.  I might get to yoga tonight.

Sorry, but that is not permitted. The “not becoming less forum addicted” clause is right after the “No Dying” clause. Rules is rules Babe!!

It's okay if she wants to be less addicted to the rest of the forums.  She just can't leave US.

I am sad that my username doesn't fit on one line.  :-(

Hopefully they will be reducing the size of the text there, and for the info right below the usernames, too.  I had been tempted to try to PM someone, but I figure they have their hands full right now and might post a thread asking for any other issues once they take care of what they currently have on their plate.

We have a $50 computer after ours broke and Matt messed it up so I can't see or edit my signature. Is mine a hot mess?

No, yours is pretty small text, not very many lines, and gray in color.  Not grab-one's-eyeballs or overly large.  Mine is longer.

  7. Shock and amazement!  My profile page is telling me I won the day yesterday by having the most liked content!  There are actual trophies on the Leaderboard tab!

Of course I only won because I could get in yesterday, while lots of others were still having trouble.  But I have a nice little message that might be visible only to me to boost my ego.

We need the emoticons back!  Picture a happy dance emoji here.  And a cheesy grin.

Yeah, I hate the double-spacing or w/e. At least yours isn't as big as AMJ's.... hers fills the entire screen, pretty much. I fixed mine, somewhat. For some reason, it doesn't support macrons anymore? Maybe they'll fix that at some point, but for now I removed them.

I'm working on mine -- I might have to remove some of the quotes, though first I tried shrinking the text and removing some blank lines.  When I tried to save it told me it didn't meet the rules (only rule listed was that no pictures were allowed, which I didn't have), but at the bottom was a message, "Too many links".  So I removed the one link I had.

There.  I didn't remove any quotes, but I consolidated quotes from the same person together and removed the carriage returns between them.  I also shrunk the text some more and moved my secret message.

Spoiler alert: He does die, but before he dies his family decides they don't love him, lock him in a garage for months and when the neighbor kicks and injures him they leave him outside, lying on the ground for days without bothering to check on him. When they discover he's alive they take him to a bad zoo and he gets trampled to death by hippos.

What is the purpose of that book?!?!?

  10. Why won't the forum let me get back to page 2906?  Will posting this do the trick?

Something is weird.  Some posts have been deleted somewhere, because Jean's "Going to City Council" booyah used to be at the top of page 2906 and now it's on page 2905.

And now it's all back to page 2906 again!  New system settling in pains, I guess.

    Online game.

DW bought more color-changing lightbulbs, so now the forums look even more painful to the eyes than earlier today (to clarify, the lightbulbs don't constantly change color, but right now the living room is blue and pink).

Really need that falling down emoji here.  Can they be controlled, and only turned to colors at specific times?

I'm trying to find a gracious way to tell a new friend that I have no inclination to detox in her sauna next week, much less every week; basically it's not gonna happen.  I'd be happy to bring the kids over to play and stuff.

"My current health requires that I forego such experiences for the foreseeable future."  How's that?

  13. I yogaed this evening.  It didn't suit me as well as Thursday evening's class did.  I'll try some of their other classes, too, when I have a chance, but even if I only get in Thursday evening yoga each week it will be better than none.

Time for bed now.  Nighty-night!  Hopefully Critter and anyone else still not back here will be able to get back in tomorrow.

I survived slipping on ice, and thereby falling into an icy creek when it was 33F and I had to walk 30 min back to the car. Because #rules. I was mighty mad though, since this was after I told DW to just go back to the car, because Broccoli had gotten wet too. Like, seriously pissed off.

Oh, and I think I made a new best friend.

Both my kids are still alive too, btw.

Thank you for following the rules.  New rule: listen to Luuknam when she says it's too icy.
