  2. I saw a really good infographic image type thing about it recently that summed it up nicely.  Basically showing why it should be used sometimes and not others.  But drat it all, I couldn't find it.

     

    The classic example of why it might be needed is the book dedication (which I think is made up): "I'd like to dedicate this book to my parents, Ayn Rand and God."
