  1. Yeah, we are HUGE fans of coconut oil around here. It's really a very healthy fat for you and can be used to replace lots of cosmetic products, too.
  2. :bigear: We are planning on reading through the series for next year, so I am very curious about the responses you get here. :)
  3. Next year, we are going to be starting our 4th grader with Teaching Textbooks. We are very excited about it and think the whole family is going to love it. Our younger son will be starting 2nd grade next year. Since we're confident we'll be with TT for a while, we'd like to be planning ahead for our 2nd grader as well. Knowing we'd be unable to use TT for him until 3rd grade, I'm wondering if there is something for 2nd grade that might be a good transition curriculum for math. Basically, I don't want him to do something for 2nd grade that is way out there from TT's style only to be starting with TT the very next year. Anyone have any insight? Our family has an A Beka background and this year our younger son is using a Liberty Mathematics text from Christian Liberty Press. I really actually believe it to be too easy for him.
  4. I was just saying the other day that I am more excited about next school year than finishing out this school year. I always hit this blah wall. The kids may be willing to keep going, but I'M the one with spring fever. And, I am definitely in the mood to start purging things. We moved in the middle of September and have had some craziness going on since. We still have boxes no one has touched. Glad I'm not alone in this spring fever stuff.:001_smile:
