I'll be using grade3 dvds or hardrive for my dd, coming home from CS. We'll use every subject except history, science, and maybe Bible, which will be using Sonlight Core 2 for. An expensive year, but so worth it!

Don't forget renaissance and reformation, it's been too fast for us. We started in last August and I'm just getting into the middle ages with my 6th grader. We will keep going through the summer and be ready for renaissance and reformation periods at the beginning of 7th, then start core 7 in maybe January, giving us 18 months for it before 9th grade. I just couldn't keep up once we started Augustus Ceaser's World, 15 pages in one day was just too much information in one sitting. I've also started supplementing with BF and VP titles, so we will continue to take it slow and just enjoy the ride.

It seems I only see talk about the dvds. I'm wondering why you would choose those over the hardrive, which would save $100, and the hassle of using dvds everyday? Thanks.

I'm looking for instructional grammar dvds for me and my 7th grader to use next year. I really like IEW for writing, so I'd hate to spend so much money for something like BJU. Is there a dvd program for homeschoolers that just teaches grammar usage? Thank you.
