Apex is good, but no diploma, and I cant remember if they do transcripts or not???
But it is a rigorous great program, matter of fact K12 still uses them, but does not admit to it.
Veritas PRess Scholar Academy is 1/3 the cost of K12 and very rigorous and great program, they just got accredited and offer diploma program and transcripts.
Keystone is not bad, just not great teacher involvement, if you have a kid that works good independently it will work.

That happened to us, you just take comps. of rental prices in the area.
If they see they are overpriced they will drop, sometimes, they get bad advice from agents or friends.

Way to go, hope you get in.

Hot washcloth for 15 minutes at least 3 times per day. Be careful what other substances you put near your eye. Water alone should do the trick.

Poor thing, what if you get the doll , then ship old or new back, depending on what dd decides?
Or, just order the doll and return one when you get the new one. Either way.
Or switch while dd is sleeping.

Well, I havent read all the posts. But, how damaging is it to stay married in a yelling environment every day.

Just a thought, if this school is not nice to deal w/.Do you want to go there.
Will you hit many bumps in the future w/them.
When dd was looking and she had interviews or would deal w/counselors, that was her main thing. If they started getting weird about hsing, or asked for too many things, they were off her list.
Basically, she picked the nicest people that she dealt w/. And come to find out, it was a winner. The person represented the school to a tee. Everyone at this college is nice.

And what is funny when we went to the hairdresser in Pittsburgh its a gumband, or gumbyand. My dd could not understand a word she was saying.

Many schools offer scholarships based off the application. Look at the school(s) you are interested in and check out there application page and scholarship links.

This is what we did when we moved into a slobby house several years ago. We couldn't pull the carpet right away, and sounds like thankfully you won't have to deal with that.
This is kind of in random order. I had to work a few hours at a time and then leave because I was so irritated.
Remove any draperies and probably rods. Staple up sheets for privacy if need be, but any curtains probably need to be trashed.
Vaccuum and mop the floors once to start with, will probably need several tiimes if he had cats and stuff.
Set off bug/flea bombs before moving an ounce of your stuff inside. If he was hoarding you never know what lies underneath.
Spray around the exterior of your home for bugs as well. Dh buys something from Lowe's.
Dust everything, wear a mask, seriously.
Start with cabinets and closets. If there is any carpeting in them or if cats have been in them, clean the floors, dust them thoroughly.
I would start with light fixtures and either replace or clean well.
We always paint ceilings when we move, usually before stuff is brought in. My dh prefers a nice bright white.
If you decide to paint the rooms, pick 1-2 colors for the entire house. You can always go back and repaint after you decide on a different color. I prefer to live in a house for several months before really deciding on color. But if it needs a fresh paint job 1-2 colors will work. We did a light mocha color throughout our house, except the bedroom got dark blue. It cleaned it up immensely.
Kitchen cabinets would be a big deal for me to clean. Lots of scrubbing, vaccumming, checking for critter droppings. A thorough cleaning of all appliances as well, move out the fridge if that was left. We use a bleach cleaner and wear a mask.
Probably stating the obvious, but don't mix bleach and ammonia cleaners, they can create a toxic environment.
Make sure you scrub baseboards and trim and doors.
My dh usually has cleaning rags or buys a box of rags from Lowes and we just went to work a little at a time.
Good luck and make sure you clean the bathroom well the first day, because you'll want to shower right after you're done.
:iagree:Also, good animal cleaner is Natures Miracle and it work on wood floors , ck. instructions to see how long you can leave it on.

We are just in Math mode, full start in Sept.

Some places require septic testing and survey. Perhaps it makes it easier to get a loan, b/c const. loans are few and far between.

I hope your area is better than Pitt. What an awful place to learn to drive. Or maybe its a good thing???

Someone is guilty in that house. How can that baby be wrapped in a pooh blankie, tape from the house and to top it off the laundry bag that matches it pair from their home.
Accident or not someone is responsible.
And on another note, since she alienated her parents, where will this girl live now??
-
I am a worrywart too. DD has her first school trip coming up in Sept and I am pre worrying.
I wish I had the let it go gene, which both my parents have. Where did mine come from. I guess its coming from the let it go gene.
Anyway, please take it easy, I worry about you and dh. Dont take on too much. And, again I was just thinking about you today.
So glad, things are getting back to normal.
