Okay, I've been seeing this for a while, and last year I did go on the flylady website-but did nothing. YOU HAVE INSPIRED ME!!! I just joined, and I'm about to go make my sink shine. YEAH!!!:hurray:

I would check with a doctor. But, I have suffered with migraines as well as migraine/sinus headaches for years, and what FINALLY helped me was using a saline rinse with a neti pot. If you aren't familiar with it CHECK IT OUT!!! I am not kidding, it was like a miracle cure for me. And better yet, no pills.

Wow, it scares me to look at that!:001_huh: I thought I was bad. My problem is that I end up buying more than one curriculum, curriculum I don't always need but that looks great, PLUS I am a fanatic when it comes to just buying books for them instead of doing the library as much as I should.
The way I have cut down this year somewhat is finding used curriculum, and that made a difference. Also, selling my stuff, and figuring out from now own to copy pages and not let the kids write in the workbooks.

Whenever I hear about someone like that it makes me hold my kids and not want to let go. Why are we so blessed???

Are you going to just the wedding, or wedding & reception? If it's just the reception, you could do the capri's, but if it's just the wedding, I would opt for a dress. I think black is fine, pretty much anything goes now.

I do think they go through their clingy stages, and that's one reason I am so thankful that we homeschool. My dd was the same way. She's 6 now, but whenever she has been involved in something, she always wants to make sure I'm right there. Sunday school, guess who's the teacher or helper? But this year, she has finally come around, as long as she knows I'm close by, I don't have to be right there in the same room. So no, I would not force it. One other thing, mine has had issues that haven't gone away about certain things, and we found a wonderful Chrisitan counselor, who I just love. Have you considered that at all?
Good luck & give your dd a big hug!

I think it's fine, but that's because mine still take baths together sometimes. They don't like showers, I would love if they took showers, but then I either have to take one with, or stand there & get soaked while I try & help. So.... how old is too old to take baths together????

I go to the ob/gyn every year, I guess it wouldn't occur to me not to. Also, I LOVE my guy. In fact, now that my youngest is 4 I said to my husband "I really miss Dr. Reinardy". My first man ob, but it's like they become your friend. Just me? Weird?

I know what you mean sister!!! I feel like I haven't been where I wanted to be at weight wise since-wait-I can't remember!! I like that post about the snacks before eating, I'm going to check out the book!
The one great thing you have going is you are working out. For me, if I stop working out, I forget about the diet. I'm an all or nothing gal, which is not a good thing.
Give yourself a pat on the back for working out and keep up the search!

I am starving now!!! We moved from Madison WI to the middle of nowhere, and GOOD restaurants are what I miss the most. Here are some of the things:
Gyros
tapas
chile rellenjos
chicago style stuffed pizza
Any good chinese
krispy kreme
pastrami on rye from Ella's Deli
I could go on and on, but I think I'm going to scrounge around for something pitiful to eat now.

Okay, honest question. I love my dh, but he works from home a lot, and it is causing problems. He never stays in his office, and leaves his papers everywhere, and it seems like our schedule is always off when he's home. He used to travel a few nights a week or every other week, and that was perfect. I feel really guilty having this attitude, but sometimes it just feels like it's one more thing added to a huge pile. And I only have 2 kids! I know how blessed I am, but I feel like he and I are bickering about all the little things (because he's ALWAYS there) and so it's easier when he's not there. When I really think about that, I feel awful, because I think "What if something happens to him, I'll never get over the guilt, I've got it so good"etc... you name it. I know I'm rambling. It's just that he's got the perfect job, he doesn't even have to work that much and so he does what he wants during the day unless he gets a phone call. While I'm homeschooling, which I love, but yes, the house is not the cleanest. So then he has the gall to make comments about vacuuming, it's a mess... Okay, ramblling again! Somebody help me out here

I don't know how all of you feel when it comes to tv & dvd's, but on days like that, everything else goes out the window, and watching is the only thing that saves us!!! Of course I try I have them watch stuff that's slightly redeeming. I feel for you! Are you ready for Mike yet?:D

Okay, here's a question. My dd loves drawing, and does so constantly-and I mean CONSTANTLY! She is also very creative when it comes to crafts, and making up things herself. Because I have no talent in that area whatsoever. Okay, here's the question part. I'm afraid if I get one of the art programs that tries to teach her how to draw this, or how to draw that, it will take away some of her own creativity and change her style. Are there any art programs that will allow them to be creative without saying "do it this way". Again, very ignorant when it comes to this, as it has never interested me personally.
Thanks!

Congrats! I wasn't able to get to anything this year, so I've been checking websites like a madwoman.

I wanted the Wii Fit, but didn't have the console, and checked EVERYWHERE. Plus, I didn't want to pay over the amount. I ended up getting it on ebay-the buy it now, I didn't bid for it. I got the whole thing for $439 including shipping and got it in 2 days!!! Try ebay.

I don't even WANT to know the horror stories! I love paypal. It's what I prefer to use to buy and sell, it's quick, easy, and the best part is that if you have a problem, YOU CAN ACTUALLY SPEAK TO A LIVE PERSON!
Good luck,

Okay, after reading all of these, I am really scared!!! I am waiting on 3 pkgs myself, and one I sent someone hasn't gotten to her either! What is it w/ the PO??? My only saving grace is that I was smart and insured ONE of the packages, but still. From now on, I am insuring all. The one pkg had curriculum that I have been waiting to start ASAP.
Great.
Good luck to you all.

I needed to hear that. It's so weird, I feel like an addict or something. I know shopping can/is addictive but I never thought I would get that way with curriculum. And yes, it is counterproductive to rack up the charges before starting. I KNOW this in my mind, my thinking reasoning mind.
Deep breath. Okay.
Thanks!
