  1. You shouldn't have any problem. Anything in North America is usually made the same with the same formatting. I believe the problem would be with European machines, as I've heard that their systems are different, just like their electrical amps.... Amazon rocks, don't they! :O) Julianne
  2. We get them all the time, too. I wondered if somehow our mailing address was given to them by any conferences we attended... :001_huh:
  3. When we do the opposite - send a cheque for US funds for purchases from our Canadian accounts, we just write "US FUNDS" at the end of the line where we write the dollar amount. I usually write it also on the top and on the memo line, so it doesn't get missed. Right now the exchange rate is close with the US rate being higher, so I don't think you will short-change them, even if it comes out in US funds and you will only be out pennies, if anything... Julianne :O)
  4. Can't leave anything with real Maple Syrup out! Maple Sugar taffy, Maple fudge, Christmas eve Tourtiere come to mind. Another option is to check out any historical native indian dishes to combine a history lesson? Julianne
  5. We have to second that one...We found that it wasn't a great fit for us. My son does not thrive on a lot of repetition so it didn't work well for us. We're new here and actually still looking for a great alternative in a HS Language Arts program, so I'm excited to continue reading through all of the posts and suggestions for a better fit! Happy Holidays, Julianne :O)
