  1. http://www.redcross.org/services/disaster/0,1082,0_564_,00.html Looks like if it stayed at 40 degrees you should be okay.
  2. I can't imagine expecting someone else to pay for my child's medical expense in a situation like that. My son recently broke his arm while in someone else's care, and it never occured to us to expect them to offer to pay for it. And he(an adult) actually knocked my son down while they were playing soccer. Overzealous footballer. :tongue_smilie: It was an accident, these things happen.
  3. I have to second Helen Fielding. In particular the Bridget Jones's Diaries. I have read them many times over and still laugh out loud at certain scenes. I can't tell you how many times I've read something out loud to my husband - only to get a very blank look back.:glare:
  4. I know very little about paypal, and had no idea you could ship through them. I'll have to check it out. I have lots of stuff to sell, but have been hesitant to even try. Regarding purchasing through paypal. If someone has had your money (through paypal) for over a week and you haven't heard from them, how long before you worry?
  5. what is the proper way to do things? I've never done this before and I'm wondering when you sell something how quickly do you try to get it shipped off once you have the money. Do you then make sure to let the person know you've sent it? If you bought something, how long do you wait until you contact that person to ask if the item has gone out? I've bought a lot of things online, but places like Amazon and such always send emails confirming everything. Buying used curric. is a great way to save, but it's a little scary to send money to someone and hope they'll really send you your "stuff". Thanks for your advice, T
