    My ds's tutor has suggested this program. The tutor is an Orton-Gillingham tutor. Has anyone used this? My son is most likely dyslexic(no official testing), has sensory integration dysfunction, and if in public school would be considered ADD/Adhd. Thanks, Vickie

    I am debating on testing my 7 yr old son. He is working with an Orton-Gillingham tutor right now. He has improved his phonological awareness since he started working with her. I also took him to a pediatric opthomologist to make sure his eyes were healthy. I've wondered about needing the testing in order for accomodations when taking the SAT or ACT. Vickie

    I like Motherhood as well. Sears had their winter maternity things marked down 60% when I started needing maternity clothes so I got a few things there as well. Vickie

    I don't buy and sale on the internet enough to use paypal. Most of the time I try to sale locally. There is a wonderful Chrisitan bookstore that buys used curriculum for store credit and you can purchase things for the next year. I try to travel to them for most things. They have a large selection of new and used materials. My dh doesn't really want me to use paypal either. Vickie

    I like FLL and so do my boys. My first son used it. The next year we had a move, the 2nd edition wasn't available, so he used the PACE for English. He placed right into 3rd grade easily. We looked at Growing with Grammar samples and the FLL 3 and 4 samples, he wants to continue with FLL program. I liked both programs from the samples. Vickie

    I have used Sonlight off and on. It is great having things laid out for me. Some of the books were too mature for the intended age. We most recently finished Core 5. My dd was 12 when we did it. The Core 5 science is working well with my 10 yr old son. Vickie
