Thank you for the suggestions! I am going to order some GeoPuzzles now.
I appreciated your link to your blog!

I'm so sorry your family is going thru this. :grouphug: There are a lot of great suggestions here. I've cleaned houses before and it is good money. Office cleaning is good, because you can work nights.
This is just a suggestion. My company is looking for people to be coordinators for a food co-op. I did it for thirteen months and I took my cut in food credit. It was a great help when my husband's work slowed down last winter. My cousin runs our group now (she loves it). And I now work for the company. I'm not sure if we deliver to your part of NJ. Here's the link- www.wholeshare.com. UrbanSue (from the WTM forums) joined up recently and loves it. This is just a suggestion. It's okay with me if this isn't your cup of tea. It just really worked out with my homeschool schedule.
I hope you find what you need. :grouphug:

Where on earth are there charter schools that give you money to spend on what you want? I am TOTALLY missing something!
That sounds awesome!

Not the grade levels I need, but this looks like a GREAT resource!
I hope I remember it in a few years. Thank you!

I am thinking of what to do for 9th grade biology as well. I am not familiar with Bridgett's science, so I'll have to look it over. I have been looking at Shepherd, as well as others. I do like the idea of heavily supplementing a program. I have been leaning towards this.

I don't know what to say. This is just so sad. :crying: How amazing that she ends her note to the hive so sweet and positive despite her circumstances. What an example to all!
-
No, but I will if it makes you feel better. Taking one for the team.

My 5 year old had the same reaction a couple of years ago. Expect the hives to go on for a few days. Definitely put this on his bracelet. He's fine now, but the next time could be more extreme. I know, because I broke out in hives and then like a year later, my throat closed up on me with no hives. (That was me being stupid and not paying attention to all of the names of penicillin.)
My son can take other antibiotics, so don't despair. He is also my allergic one. Our results from the allergy clinic lately have thrown me for a complete loop!
I'm sorry you are getting hit with so many other things as well. NOT good timing!

We have been dealing with this since she was four months old she is six now. We have had her cleaned out many times. Even on two caps of Mirilax and coconut oil she still has hard stools. The GI (the 15 we have gone to!) are not sure why. We have eliminated everything she is allergic to and them some. She has been scoped from here to there. We have made sure her allergens are not in any of the other products. She is underweight and eats like she is a teenage boy!
I'm sorry! :crying: It's sounds like your poor baby has been thru a lot. I wish we had easier answers to what is wrong with their bodies. :grouphug:

What's NOEO? I couldn't find it on the abbreviation list?
I don't think it's abbreviated. Search for it as NOEO science and it will pop up.
Here's the link-http://www.noeoscience.com/
I'm looking at it also. I wonder if the Level 3 is good? I also have an older child.

Our 5 year old was recently diagnosed with severe constipation. His GI recommended a clean out with Miralax and then to continue on it. Out of the 10 days he took it, he couldn't go at all on 3 of them. Our peiatrician recommended Natural Calm from the health food store. It's magnesium citrate. It worked great. Our recent recheck with the GI showed that it was almost all gone! We also had to change his diet, because we have since found out he is allergic to practically everything. So, we may be helping eliminate the source of the problem.
I know every child is different, just wanted to share what worked with us. Hope you get the help you need!

Okay, I do. It's shaped like a ball with a handle on top.The one they have now is different. Do you have the same one as we do? Do you want me to scan and send the directions to you? (They're quite long. :)

I think that is the one I have!

We have the human body one and the ocean one. We like them both. We have another one, but I can't remember which one. My boys aren't as crazy about it.

I'm a total book nerd, so this would be hard for me. My 13 year old is the same way. But, some people prefer the computer. :svengo: I don't get it, but everyone is different. Would it bother your son? Or would he like it? I think that should be factored into your decision making.

I know it's not a dairy allergy. We only drink Almond. I use spelt 95% of the time. I don't use eggs I use flax. So I have the main foods covered. He has had this for years. He has had his tonsils and adnoids removed when they put tubes in his ears. They did blood work and testing on his arms. I look at him and know something is wrong. I wish it was written across his head.
Spelt has gluten in it. Maybe he is gluten sensitive. Hope you get answers! :grouphug:
you know you're spending too much time looking at curriculum when...
in K-8 Curriculum Board

I love to research curriculum! If I was as dedicated in teaching the curriculum as I am in researching it, I would be an awesome homeschool mom!..........But, I'm not. :blushing: It's my new goal.
Maybe I should research how to do it.
