I've decided that every weekend dd is home from college I'll make her a new GF recipe. Christmas break I made Sweet & Sour Chicken and she loved it (asked for it 3 other times!). Trying to get some weight on the kiddo and wanting her to enjoy meals more. Soooooo, does anyone have a recipe that's a rave????????

I love having the windows open and listening to the neighbor kiddos rollerblading. It's in the mid 50s here and bright & sunny. Not bad for January in central Indiana!

My DH has low bp, also. A few years ago he passed out and ended up spending the night at the heart hospital. Several people asked if he was a marathon runner because it was so consistently low. He's not but he is a restaurant manager so is on his feet moving all day. His cardio dr. recommended upping his salt intake and he hasn't had a problem since. Also, when he gets up in the morning he sits on the side of the bed a few moments before actually getting up.

HS leads to a lot of great discussions in the job search. I play accomplishments up/down depending on the type of job I'm applying for.

Just think of the bonding they feel with each other having to endure their mother's wishes as a band of brothers.
My DDs & I have this bond over the Nutcracker much to my Dh's dispair :laugh:

I might of missed it, but, has anyone mentioned Lee Strobel's books? The Case for ... (Christ, Faith, God) He is an athesist turned Christian, Yale educated attorney and an investigative reporter for the Chicago Tribune. My engineer daughter loved his style and it lead to some great conversations in and outside the family.

So, DDs are 19 & 21-gee am I a little behind :tongue_smilie: BUT, I do have all the pictures organized/dated in envelopes. What would you suggest material wise to get me going?
