Yes, I am very familiar with them. I had them and all 3 of my children had/have them. My youngest even has one on the back of her head. They are fairly common.

I am not sure how big attendance usually is but I had a good time. I enjoyed talking to the vendors. I like Hal Young and his were engaging. I found next year curriculum there.

You tube is how I learned. I have a hard time crocheting.

We usually do Springhill Suites by Marriott. Sometime we will struggle with Courtyard as well but Residence Inn and Springhill are the ones we tend to go for.

I forgot my second book I am reading this week it is called My So-Called Life as a Proverbs 31 Wife by Sara Horn. So I hope to complete those two books this week.

I liked the one with Anne Bancroft and Patty Duke the best. I hated the one with the pepsi girl.

Our current read aloud for my oldest is The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis and with my younger two it varies by the day. We are working through Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit series.

Sounds like only one part fof your e-mail was responded to. That's par for the course ime.I would hazard a guess that he's trying to get the boys to realize they are a team, and that's why whole class punishments are in there. The theory is that the leaders and those who want to have recess will persuade the rule-breakers to be cooperative and go along with the class rules. In my children's experience, that works, but not for those who are usually on BIPs, because those children think it's great that they can not only disrupt the teacher's efforts but control the whole class. Being males, the teacher needs to win and be the alpha.

I think she gets the general idea. Could they be better sure but if it was her first attempt I think she did great.

It is better than my son would have gave me. It really is not that bad. So grammatical mistakes but it seems she got the jist of the fable. We are working in Hake grammar and have not started writing except for the journal entry. My son is still writing like a 3rd grader at almost 11. This is our first year homeschooling so it shows a lot about the education he received while in public school.

It is 1135am. My son is doing his grammar lesson. We have literature up next and we are done for the day.

I am dreading when we come to that. I still have nightmares from elementary school with that one.

Lunch: Microwaveable meal.
I will live if we don't read everything on the schedule. I will just have to schedule it to a different day. Also I don't have to do everything in order. I think we will finish out with History today.

I try to refocus him. I give him breaks but it will have to cut into his game time because it is not that he can't do it he wont do it. Well for my son anyway. He has stuff that he must complete. I do not give him a lot of work he just likes to procrastinate. It comes from his public school background where they will accept just anything.

With my son we started at 6.5 but I made him check the bathroom to see if anyone was in it. If not he was allowed to go in and I would stand outside the door. He is 10 almost 11 and he can go on his own now. I think that 7-8 is too old to be in the women's bathroom for a little boy. That is just my opinion.

We just got back from Disney and stayed in Windsor Hills. Enjoy!!!!
