  1. I loved today's episode and can't wait to see the season finale next week! My only concern is that I think they are taking an extended period of time off (possibly a year?) after this next episode. What am I going to do without my Dr. Who fix?

Also, how come Amy and Rory seem ok without their baby? Amy mentions Melody in Let's kill Hitler but doesn't seem to concerned any time after that

  2. Wild Cherry Yogurt Icecream (full fat icecream that has the flavor of yogurt) at Polar Bear Ashburns...was only able to have it once back in the 80's because the Polar Bears by our house closed down. The best flavor I have ever had.

Also like Breslers Strawberry Yogurt flavored icecream and Bluebell Peaches & Cream.

  3. I liked the episode.....I wonder what the Doctor saw in his room...I couldn't figure out if the Doctors room was the room with him dressed up as a clown or was just a random room.

I really liked the Muslim doctor a lot....I wish that she had lived and could be a possible future companion for the Doctor.

I am looking forward to the next episode but wondering how they are going to end the season and if it will end on a cliffhanger. I hope not, I am tired of cliffhangers and want everything resolved :D

  4. I liked it...but it was sad. These types of episodes are always interesting as they once again show us that the Doctor has a ruthless side to him.

The part where the older Amy had her hand on the side of the tardis window while Rory had his hand mirroring hers on the other side broke my heart :(

I am glad that the preview for the next episode looks scary rather than sad. It is a lot easier to answer my 10 year old's endless questions when I am not all choked up :tongue_smilie:

  5. We like to have homemade wings served with homemade french fries and coca-colas... but then we are not the healthiest family in the world;)

Other ideas are snack night...7 layer dip with chips, carrots/celery/tomatoes/greenpepper with ranch (or onion ) dip. Cheese and crackers.

Another thing we like to do is get really good cheese and bread from Whole foods, grapes, strawberries, good dill pickles and make a spread.

    HTH!

  6. Must.get.netflix.must.get.netflix. :D

Someone tell me how I can do that without adding to my cable bill, which I cannot get rid of b/c it lowers my internet bill.

I believe you can get unlimited streaming on netflix (no disks) for about $6-8/month ...not too bad a deal to get your Dr. Who fix :D

  7. I am about to start baking some chocolate chip pan cookies (we are moving next week and I am trying to use up all of the flour, sugar and chocolate chips before we go so we don't have to pack them :D)

I was looking at my ingredients and I don't have any baking soda....just baking powder...will this work or will it do something funky to the cookies?

    Thanks!

  8. I hope it works out for you :grouphug: Nothing more stressful than having to deal with a move (we are moving to CO next week, so I feel your pain :D)

At least your movers are willing to work with you. We got a voice mail message from ours when we were moving to this rental house 2 years ago that they couldn't come because their other job ran over :svengo: Of course we were packing and getting stuff ready so I didn't actually check my cell phone messages until right around the time they were supposed to be there.

We ended up finding other movers at the last minute, but it was very stressful!

Sending prayers and positive thoughts to you for a safe, stress-free move!

  9. Ft. Collins is great! I wish we could live there, but we're here in the south 'burbs. It's great to visit, though! My dd is already thinking about going to school there. Welcome back! (And my cousin lives in Albany CA...I've never been there but they really like it.)

Yes, that is one of the reasons my DH wanted to move here is so that we would be close to CSU in case the kids wanted to go there later on (he is a CU boulder graduate...but Boulder is WAY too expensive to live in).

You should visit your cousin some day....spring and summer are the best times to visit (it can get really rainy in the winter). Albany is really a lovely place to visit and if you go you need to check out Al's hamburgers and Zachary's pizza :D
