  1. I was looking for confirmation that it IS a lot of review. She is more comfortable with what she knows and math goes more smoothly. We have had many crying fits this year and I am not sure if I should stick it out with RS D or move to something else.
  2. My daughter is 7 1/2 and we are finishing up 2nd grade and RS C. We have been using RS from the beginning. My daughter is very bright and generally does not struggle with subjects, except for math. RS A and the beginning of B we had no problems. Most of the trouble started once she had to add and subtract larger numbers in her head. We had no problems at the beginning of C, but after the review, she struggled a lot. Now that we are toward the end and it is review again, she is more comfortable. I was ready to switch to something else, possibly Teaching Textbooks 4, when I borrowed RS D from a friend today. It looks like A LOT of review, aside from learning to multiply larger numbers and division (and a few other things), most of it looks like review. I was wondering if I could get some feedback on it from those who have used it. Now I am thinking we should stick with it...but I am still not sure. A change may do her some good...although I am not even sure what we would change to. HELP!!
