We have 1 week until dh will go back to work....so....for the next 7 days we finishing up everything to get this house in order.

Never...I'm to aware of whats going on around me.   At home...I sometimes fall asleep during movies....I think it's cause I'm way more relaxed and feel safe.

Went to WM for storage containers and a few groceries.

Having oil changed in truck and serviced.

Unpacked and put away all cookbooks and now off to tackle the exercise area and sewing room.

[Elusive housecleaning goals - we're fine with the surface, I want to actually plan an attack of the depths]

We just moved from 6000sq feet to 3000 sq feet...I feel it's way more manageable for me.  

 

There are now 3 bathrooms instead of 5 and that makes a world of difference for me.  I only have 1 to clean here as ds and dd have their own to take care of.  I have however decided once a week to wipe down the baseboards while cleaning that area.  It will take 10 minutes to do it all at max.  

 

I'm picking one day a week after we are completely settled to do housework...I'm coming up with my plan of attack and everything else will just be maintence during the week.   Housework is soul sucking to me right now.....

Good Morning...yawn...we had crazy storms here last night in TN...with water rescues in our town.  Scary stuff!!  :scared:

Not even sure...there's plenty to do, I just need to pick a project and get on it.  I'll report back later. :)

Just moved and got rid of most everything...so I'm starting from scratch.

EB to vet for the day...doing a curve on her to make sure she's getting the right dosage.

 

Unpack and put more stuff together, clean and repeat until were done.   I'd say were 50% done unpacking.

Stayed up super late working.  Got up and put dinner in the crockpot and then dh sent me back to bed to get a couple more hours of rest. :001_wub:

 

Today:

unpack and put things away

make a huge salad to go with dinner

decorate, clean, and purge

 

We have been watching fireworks from our house for the last 3 nights...people really like their fireworks here in TN.   :p

I seriously have a love affair with Costco.   I had to join Sam's club today because the nearest Costco is 42 miles from my house.....lets just say...I'm shocked at the difference.   I will be getting my coolers ready and hitting Costco in a couple of weeks to restock my freezers....I love all things Costco.

Slept in this morning....rest is a wonderful thing!  :D

 

Today...I'll grocery shop for food and stock the house....we are all tired of eating out.   If I can accomplish this....I'm good today!

 

Tomorrow we will tackle lots and lots of boxes.

Good Morning!  

 

Took Ella Bella to the vet yesterday...she has diabetes and a UTI infection.  We started insulin today, new food and a antibiotic.  I sure hope she will feel better soon.  She's such a sweet girl and has been with me for 10 years and all the deployments while we were living overseas.    

 

Take her to the vet at 12 to check her glucose and make sure she's tolerating the insulin.

 

My to do list is long, but I'm not very motivated so I'll check back in later.

I just gave away my piano to a little girl that was just learning to play..it was mine from childhood and we got our son a new one that is way lighter and he loves it.  He can carry this one to his apartment when he moves out.
