How is Cub scouting done where you are? How much do you pay per month/year? How much are you as a parent involved? Do you have to pay for your child's awards yourself? What about summer cub scout camp? How much do you pay for those?

Well, it is a T/F. Can you prove or disprove one part of the statement? That's all I need to make it false. According to Wiki. , "Medieval theatre covers all drama produced in Europe over that thousand year period and refers to a variety of genres, including liturgical drama, mystery plays, morality plays, farces and masques" Is this enough to make the second part of the statement false?

I can go with a reality show, but I think that a sitcom would be more popular among the non-homeschoolers...I don't know. I am just brainstorming here.

I am taking a TV as theatre college class and this week I have to come up with an idea for a TV show. Here are the instructions: ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION: this week you are to develop an idea for a television show. Just like when a person pitches an idea to the TV executives in charge of programming, your job is to sell your idea for a television show to me. It can be any style: a drama, situation comedy, game show, reality show, documentary, news show, music show or anything you might imagine. State the title of the show and tell me enough about it to make me want to put it on my network for the coming season. Include some examples of story or show ideas. Be specific and concise. Try to keep your pitch as short as possible: around one, double-spaced page. Since I know homeschooling best, I have decided that my main characters are going to be a homeschooling family with maybe 3 kids and another on the way. This is a sitcom, funny but not stupid. The show would explore myths, joys, and disasters of homeschooling (by disasters I mean funny things that happen.) I’d like to have one neighbor who is a know-it-all 40 something single woman who opposes homeschooling vehemently. Neighbors #2 are a rich family whose children go to an expensive private school. Neighbors #3—single working mom whose children are left unsupervised a lot and like to hang out at the homeschooling family. Grandma also opposes homeschooling and criticizes everything the mom does. Grandpa—supports homeschooling and likes to take the kids on field trips. This is what I have so far. I don’t know what the children are like. I don’t want them to be too much like the Simpson’s kids, but I do want them at least one to be super smart. I’m looking for funny stories that have happened in your family, anything else you might like to add to my “tv showâ€. I also need suggestions for a title, names of the parents, children, etc. Let’s get creative together! TIA

We participate in scouting for food, eagle scout projects, and other things organized by our church. But the kids don't get to see the people who are the recipients of the food, etc. I want them to be able to see the faces of those less fortunate (and I want to get out of cooking a big dinner). Thanks for the ideas so far.

I usually host the extended family Thanksgiving dinner, over 25 people, and this year I'd rather not. Instead, I'd like to have my family be involved in some kind of a service project, but I don't know how to find one. My kids are 5-15 so we can all help cook/serve dinner at a homeless shelter, for example, but how would I go about finding one?

I'm taking a theatre college class --Dramatic Arts in Television. My homework assignment is due tonight at midnight, and I just can't do it! This is my first theatre class (I' taking it because it fulfills Gen.Ed. requirements and it is online) The reading assignment has a total of one page on sensorship, so I feel that I don't know enough to really do the assignment: "Find an example of what you perceive to be a positive result from something being censored. Then, find an example something negative that can occur because something is censored. It would be most interesting if your ideas are based on the effect censorship has on you, personally, rather than on children or some other person. These can be based on censorship in television, live theatre or radio (since much of the reading discusses radio). Back up your opinion with examples." Please HELP me!
