Okay, whatever I did differently that time... it worked! Yay!!
If only I could work out *what* I did wrong before so I never make that mistake again.

I've tried both the links and uploading. I've checked each picture attempted is properly sized. I've tried both profile picture (or whatever it's called) and avatar.
Either I'm missing a step somewhere or this is a glitch between my pc and the board.

My dd17 is reading through Jane Austen's novels this year. I think she's currently on Mansfield Park.
For fun she just finished Cold Comfort Farm.
My ds15 (not homeschooled) is just starting Robinson Crusoe if I don't steal it from him. Neither of us have ever read it.
I'm reading The Confederacy of Dunces, selection of short mystery stories called Murder Most British, and reading along with The Fellowship of the Ring audio along with Dh.
This is my first post here so... here goes nothin'!
How are the new boards changing your habits?

Today I'm on a lot more often than usual because for every thread I read, I then get a 'server is busy' signal and have to leave and return later. It's a slow day at home and I had hoped to use my time to become aquainted with the format here and check a few of the message threads. The busy server is putting a stop to that idea today, though I don't plan to change my habits and hover on the board all day during the week either.
I hope the server issues will be sorted soon.
