    :svengo: Clearly it is a good thing I live in Alabama, and not somewhere where bears are prevalent.

     

    I will not complain anymore about a stray dog in the front yard. :)

     

    Ditto!! Good heavens! Not only would I not come to your house to warn you, I'd go into MY house and stay there until I was sure the bear was gone! I'd try to find your number or I'd call the police, but I wouldn't be coming near your house until I was sure that I was not about to become a tasty treat.

    I am sorry about your friend. I saw her Obituary this afternoon, and it made me sad. What a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, and especially her husband and children.

     

    I'll be praying for your other friend's father as well.

     

    The Festivus celebration sounds like just the ticket for your neighbors! I'd gladly bring my two "noisemakers" if I were able to do so. It sounds like it would be just their kind of thing. Their normal volume is stuck at loud or louder. :laugh:

     

     

    I think that the siggy thing with the odd links is spam. We have that happen sometimes on my forum. I think they think they can sneak in the bad links and nobody will notice that they are spam. It never seems to work, but spammers don't seem to let that bother them. They are SO annoying.

    Things had been getting a little better for Marilyn, and she opened her eyes and was able to squeeze people's hands and blink and stick out her tongue when the Dr. asked her to do so. They inserted a feeding tube and were hoping to take her off the respirator next week. Last night though, I heard that she had a raging infection because they inserted the feeding tube in the WRONG place, and her kidneys were shutting down. I just can't believe that she was actually getting better and they did that to her. frown.gif My dh just told me that they called her dh back to the hospital a few minutes ago, saying it did not look good. I am praying now for ANOTHER miracle for Marilyn. This is just SO horrible. th_cry2.gif

    There are a couple of games built into the kindle and there are more games available for it. The ilmk blog has some information which might be helpful to you. I have a few games on mine. I usually read books on it, but it's nice to have a quick game to play when I need a little diversion. The kindle is so awesome. I'm amazed at how attached I am to it. It goes almost everywhere with me.

    It's ONE song. A song you have heard your whole life. At least take the time to refresh your memory before you go on National TV to sing it.

     

    Oh, and just sing the WORDS, they're great. It doesn't need to be heavily embellished.

     

    I was really disappointed in her performance. I love the National Anthem and I didn't feel like she did it justice at all. :(
