Congrats! DH was on Grand Jury for an entire month last September. We're lucky his work chose to pay him for the entire month, as they're not legally required to pay anything.

I lucked out in the Fall-I was on federal Jury duty, where you have to call in each night to see if you have to go in the next day-and I never had to go in, the entire month. I think DD was kind of disappointed-she had her backpack packed so she could go do school at work with Daddy, and never got to go.
