I got the book from the uk and it was fantastic.

I've enjoyed reading this!! We did not live on FI (were in Kailua then later Makalapa), but my aunt/uncle/cousins lived there. I remember riding the ferry over! Back in 1982 during a hurricane my cousin (2yo at the time) was potty training. A tree fell through the bathroom as he was going. Needless to say they were still working on training him as they approached kindergarten!!
We had massive roaches in Makalapa too.

Ticonderoga tri-write feel so nice in the hand. Smooth!

*sigh* I love those. They wouldn't come in a girl's 12, would they? Pretty please???

laminate is louder.
ETA I think the next big thing will be linoelum. Good old fashioned linoleum. Natural. Already taking off in Europe.

I do get it. But even if we change our wifi password, which we have, that's not to say he can't get on a neighbor's wifi, even if it is password protected he could probably get the password from their kids who he goes to school with. There is just no way he could have it, with all of the things that it can do (who knew you could use an iPod for talking on the phone, facetiming, texting, sending pictures, browsing the Web, etc.), unless we want to sit there over his shoulder the entire time. Plus in his conversations he has mentioned secret apps where he can keep the pictures she sends him private, so who knows what all is on there that we can't even access.
I guess we could just keep it and give it back when he moves out! :D
Not the parent of a teen but ipods have restriction settings under the "general" tab. you can disable safari, apps, you name it. If you try to guess the restrictions pword too many times it will disable the device for an ungodly amount of time.

I had to wash with hibiclens the night before and morning of my surgery.

I prefer to reuse plastic grocery sacks for other purposes. There are lots of other ways to be green without lining the pockets of corporations. http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/01/06/reusable-grocery-bag-germs/4341739/

During the international reading association convention it looks like many (if not all? did not check) books on the heinemann website are 30% off including free shipping. Ebooks 40% off.

Why not encourage premarital counseling? That may help buy time and opportunity to see the light.

Oh- our slide held 4 adults sitting on it for a photo. The 5th person's weight made it buckle. When they got off it straightened out and has been fine ever since.
-
You are so fine as is. We have costco's version from about 8 years ago. Just tighten those bolts and let them have fun. Most ppl are not even aware of weight limits.

Do they ever go on sale?

IMO type to learn4 (web based from HSBC) is superior to anything else. You can do a 30 day free trial for up to 5 students so give it a go. We are in the process of that now and IMO it is worth the $$$$. Typing is such an important skill these days.

Why not add supports? Your kids are only getting bigger too. We are in the process of doing something similar to ours. You can order hardware online and wood at Home Depot. We would rather be the destination on our street so we have more control.

Thank you!! 9yo is not nurturing in the least, to anyone really. 5yo makes noises a lot just bc he is a 5yo boy, but she will tell him to stop which makes him do it more. That is most typical.
-
My 9yo is typical bossy oldest, and is great friends with my middle child. My youngest is a wonderful playmate to other children (and to my middle when oldest is not around). Youngest knows oldest doesn't like him so purposefully baits oldest and does all sorts of annoying things. Oldest has zero patience for him and is pretty nasty to him at times. When middle is gone for extended periods (visiting relatives or whatnot) oldest can warm up a bit to youngest. What do you suggest? I've had her sit and read books to him before but she cannot under any circumstance so let him touch her or even breathe on her...
Ideas?

We have a lot of big closets. I wish we had done more storage downstairs though for crafts, games, school etc.

I bought math mammoth in 2011 on HSBC but cannot figure out how to get the updated download. Has anyone done this successfully?

Try googling work habits rubrics.
