  1. I have been doing the curly girl method for about 6 months. I use Suave daily clarifying conditioner every three days it is very light and my hair is very fine so it gets wheighed down pretty fast. At first I was using the suave cocnut as my rinse out and I had gross hair blech. about once a month a mix some shampoo with my conditioner and that help to remove any build up that might be there.
  2. I know this is an old thread but I am new to HSing and need some support. I am in Twin Falls.
  3. Since the birth of my second son nine days before Christmas we have had the three gift rule. Each of my Children recieve three gifts on Christmas morning. Jesus only received three gifts and it helps to shift the focus back on the reason for the season :) This year most of the gifts are Mom made I have been knitting and sewing all year LOL. My husband isnsits on buying a new Wii game for the older boys much to my dismay hopefully next year we can have an entire handmade Christmas.
  4. I was a headbanger as a child I think I was about 5 or six when I stopped and learned to rock side to side to fall asleep. I still rock myself to sleep. To me it is very soothing and normal lol why dosen't everyone bang there head??
  5. My DS age 10 is not yet homeschooled (he wants to start next year) but he has an inflatable donut on his seat at school so he can wiggle a bit same effect as the ball. Frequent breaks are important as are frequent reminders. It is hard because at his age teachers expect him to take resposibility for his work and he is very forgetful. I have to be very diligent. A watch with an alarm helps him not hyperfocus and loose track of time.
  6. Thank you everyone for the suggestions I really do appreciate it. I am starting to feel much more confident, even excited.
  7. Hi, I am new to homeschooling and recently decided to just take the leap and pull my first grader out of public school and enroll him into the Idaho virtual Academy K12. I hope I am doing the right thing because according to his teacher he is behind. He took his first State test the Idaho reading indicator a few months ago and tested at six month of Kindergarten level. I was shocked and so disappointed in the level of education he is receiving. I need help finding a good Bible curricula for him and my other two kiddos. They 10 and 4. Also will I need to supplement the phonics program I have seen some mixed reviews. Thanx for your help, Cass
