  1. :iagree: Plus the skull faced mechanical guy in Star Wars 3 was very disturbing as well.

I'm pretty hard core against evil impressions on my mind after some spiritual realizations, and I used to love Star Wars. Spiderman and Darth Maul look like Satan to me now, lol.

Harry Potter is full of satanic and sexual subliminal messages and symbolism and mind control on unconscious and conscious levels, but so is most of what is directed at our kids these days. Once you have an eye for it, you can see how Mystery Babylon The Great is infiltrating everything these days.

I'm pretty extreme. The only videos my kids get to see are nature videos. Imagination is encouraged through play and stories.

  2. i tried to answer this, and found i couldn't do it politely. if newspapers or tv are your source, then there's not much point in talking farther - they are chronically inaccurate at best.

so i'm just going to ask that folks don't believe me. ask good questions. look at original data.

(good questions around the mars statement might include: which nasa scientist? really? which instrument in the mid-70's? what is the measure of error? which instrument recently? what is the measure of error? did anyone reference the impact of Co2? on Mars?? really?? on earth???)

shaking the dust off my sandals,

    ann

Hey mama, I'm sorry if I upset you, I do not wish that on anyone. I quickly googled an article on mars...there is plenty more sources with more details supporting this from science and astronomical sources.

I agree that we should question everything, especially that which those in power tell us.

I refuse to live in 'fear of CO2' or support the taxable fear and guilt being pushed on us for being living, breathing beings on this planet. I feel that fear and manipulation by fear are more of a burden on this Earth than CO2.

"Scientists from Nasa say that Mars has warmed by about 0.5C since the 1970s. This is similar to the warming experienced on Earth over approximately the same period.

Since there is no known life on Mars it suggests rapid changes in planetary climates could be natural phenomena."

We are also approaching a solar maximum in 2011/2012, which happens every 11 years.

  4. I'm using FIAR right now, and it has given me ideas of things to discuss that I may not have thought of on my own, but I'm also not finding the way to do the extended activities. http://www.homeschoolshare.com has helped with printing activity sheets and lapbook stuff.

I had also planned on using FIAR for social studies and science, but I think it's not enough for us. So, I have just added Galloping The Globe, which focuses on world geography and animals for science. To go along with all of that, I got the Complete Book of Animals and lots of library books for each subject, magic school bus, etc.

For more science, I'm considering getting Evan-Moor's Giant Science Resource Book

Good luck finding a way to make it work.

  5. Ancient history is full of proto-Jews! :)

From ancient India, according to Vedic scriptures, the origin of marriage is from the divine marriage that exists eternally in the heavenly realms between the Supreme God and Goddess, beyond and before even the creation of this universe and Earth and the first progenitors of mankind.

Srimad Bhagavatam 4.23.25: We can see that this queen...has served her husband with mind, speech and body exactly as the goddess of fortune serves the Supreme Personality of Godhead. (This is meaning that she served her husband instead of having a servant do it, not that we can be God.)

Then there are the stories of marriage ceremonies on Earth that are said to have taken place thousands of years ago. The Ramayana tells of Rama and Sita's wedding in Treta Yuga over 800,000 years ago. Then Krishna and his many wives had elaborate marriage ceremonies at the beginning of Kali Yuga, 5,000 years ago. There was also the swayamvara ceremonies that occurred throughout Vedic history, where many men would compete to be chosen to marry the lady, (usually princesses).

Srimad Bhagavatam 5.14.18: In household life one is ordered to execute many ceremonies and fruitive activities, especially the vivaha-yajna [the marriage ceremony for sons and daughters] and the sacred thread ceremony. These are all the duties of a householder, and they are very extensive and troublesome to execute.

  7. Sorry, I'm not who you're asking for, but I can explain where people are getting the idea about muscle spasms.

    That beautiful girl...:(...breaks my heart.

You can search the CDC vaers website's records for dystonia (the state of abnormal muscle tone resulting in muscular spasm and abnormal posture, typically due to neurological disease or a side effect of drug therapy.) http://wonder.cdc.gov/vaers.html

  8. The best for cytokine storm is anti-inflammatory foods, especially turmeric and omega fatty oils like flax seed oil and hemp seed oil.

Check out the herbal lomatium...Native Americans that used this root survived the 1918 flu. http://www.naturalnews.com/020091.html

Bring essential oils to sanitize the air you breathe...eucalyptus, lavender, lemon, cinnamon, rosemary, oregano, etc. http://www.secretofthieves.com/

The last link you posted sums everything I know about Baxter in the Ukraine, and I agree with David's research 100%. I strongly advise not getting the vax they are distributing there.

There's some political motives (elections, gas and the EU, and International Monetary Fund) involved with the fear mongering propaganda in the Ukraine, so don't let it worry you too much, some is over exaggeration.

I'm sending prayers for your safety and protection in the Ukraine. :grouphug:

  9. No well check ups here. My oldest was an unassisted homebirth, and I could not get his birth certificate until I proved he was alive with a doctor's note, so that is the only time we had to go to a doctor. (Apparently, people lie about having kids to get welfare.) So, we paid to go to a naturopath who would not push vaxes. She looked at his testicles and it was a really uncomfortable moment. I study natural medicine, and we are thankfully healthy and well. I certainly didn't need to spend $70 to be told my child is healthy, lol!

  10. Thanks, everyone. I tried the coconut oil because it was the only thing mentioned that I happened to have on hand-and it's remarkable! They feel much better already and look somewhat less red. Thank you! I won't use the sanitizer-sounds like it's no good. I'll wash, but put the coconut oil on right after. And hopefully it will be a good barrier for moisture.

I'm continuing with the hand washing to try to avoid spreading germs to the rest of the house due to dh having to work. The dc have been isolated into the larger bedroom, so when I leave there to go into the rest of the house, I wash first to hopefully help stop the spread. I've had my face coughed in, wiped fevered brows, etc-so yes, I have been completely exposed and it's my honor if I fall ill from serving them. But hopefully we can keep dh clear of it! :)

I'm glad that the coconut oil helped...coconuts are a blessing. I am always impressed with that stuff. I use it in my hair, too, and it's the best oil to cook with high temp.

Don't underestimate the power of essential oils, they are more effective than any antibiotic or antibacterial soap because diseases can't become resistant. It's ancient medicine that works. Check when your health food store has sales on them. 4 oils will kill 100% of all the viruses and germs in the air in your house in 30 minutes. I especially suggest oregano oil for your sick kids, it is super stuff.

I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers.:grouphug:
