Our kids are between 1-13. We still do it by amount of gifts so generally the older kids we spend more on but the amount of presents is the same number. My husband and I only do stockings for each other and usually one gift under the tree. We buy for our parents and we buy books for nieces and nephews.

I do have one! My husband and I went to his work Christmas party and that was the theme. It is hot pink with a reindeer with sunglasses on it. I'm not sure it was super ugly, or maybe I just have bad taste because I think it's cute 🤣.

How old are you kids? From the games listed it seems pretty young. Ghost Fightin' Treasure Hunters is a great cooperative game for the younger age group. Another good game that is a press your luck while helping with math skills is Can't Stop.
I have 6 kids ages are from 1-13. I would love more board games for ages 5-13!

Lasagna is spaghetti cake, coined by my 2nd oldest at age 4 because she couldn't remember the word for lasagna.

Gumdrop cookies are my families most requested. The recipe comes from my great grandmother. They are delicious made gluten free. My kids like my oatmeal peanut butter cookies too. I also make lemon squares, sucre a la creme and Hello Dollies(the recipe from the sweetened Condensed milk).

I've been on labetalol for half of my twenties and the other half and all of my thirties I've been on metoprolol. Currently doing metoprolol and perindopril. I use it for high blood pressure from heart surgery when I was a baby not SVT, but I've not had any alarming side effects. Some people do develop a cough kinda like a tic but I've never experienced it.

I use Mixbooks. It's really easy to use. They always have coupons too.

4 was the hardest but I had 4 kids in 3 years so that makes sense. It was also really hard going from 1-2 because they were only 18mo apart. 5 felt easy and 6 has been hard but that's mostly because my kids range in ages from 0-13 so they all have very different needs. 6 is not unmanageable but it's for sure my max based on the physical and emotional needs of my kids. Oh! And depending on kids personalities it can make it easier or harder. My first and fifth are rule followers. My second one is not. My twins are somewhere in between.

Our new house is bigger which means there are more rooms to clean. In typical kid fashion the kids are revolting. Honestly, I am having anxiety already about the pushback today that I know will happen. Is this too many Chores? I'll add ages just for reference.

Yes! It was my favourite growing up. We bought the new one a few years ago for my now 11yo. My 5yo plays with it now.

My understanding is As long as you eat healthy - you will need to replace B vitamins specifically if you do decide to go gluten free. Those vitamins are easy to get when you eat lots of whole wheat Bread. You will have to eat the green vegetables that have a lot of B vitamins. This is just off the top of my head so I could be wrong on the vegetable type. It's easy with a bit of Practice though and necessary for lots of people.

For those of you whose relatives give a ton of gifts, has anyone had any success getting it reduced?
Things have gotten really out of control here.Part of the issue is that I think all of the family is hesitant to treat one set of cousins differently from the other, and my SIL really wants her kids to get a ton of stuff.
We did have to talk to both sides of family. My moms love language is gifts but we had to stop it because it was ridiculous. This won't work for everyone but we told her point blank that anything other than books or clothing will be automatically donated because there is no room for stuff. Last year she gave them an IOU for a date with them and a gift card they can spend when they are together. They had a blast getting one on one time with Nana. My MIL used to give the worst gifts. We had a talk with her when we moved back that we will only accept gifts that we have approved because our living space is limited and a one year old doesnt need an entire full band of instruments(yes this happened!). She now usually makes a gift or she asks what they want. Last year she made bath robes for all the kids and bought them slippers. We have had to impose a ton of boundaries to make it a Christmas that we can all enjoy.

I am just curious. How many presents do your kids get from you and any extended family?
For us each kid gets 3 presents from us, and we do a secret santa gift between the kids. My extended family gives them another 6 presents, usually it's clothing, crafts or books.

I drink 2-3 cups. Coffee or tea is my go-to but usually it's coffee with cream and stevia.
-
Reese's or Fuzzy Peaches(are these just a Canadian thing?)
My kids say twizzlers or skittles.

After a health scare my husband changed his diet drastically. He is finally below 200lbs. He is a vegetarian, bikes or walks daily and lifts weights 3x a week. He would like to lose 30 more. I am so proud of him that he has continually shown up for himself.

Biscuits or scones. It's even worse now because I keep trying to make them glutenfree.
-
Our rule is whoever is up first makes the other one coffee/tea. It's usually me but on the weekends it's more likely my husband making me coffee. It's mostly an invitation to wake up and help the other person to contain the chaos.

I usually tell him exactly what I want but he always surprises me with one thing. I asked for and got: a homemade ornament with our kids names on it, new baking sheets and a half zip sweater. This years surprise was a necklace with our kids first initials.
