  1. My kids are 7 almost 8, can I start assigning (at the beginning of the day) their math or some other workbook type lesson that they can be responsible for completing at some point during the school day. I want to develop this skill and i don't know when to start. I don't want to set unreasonable expectations yet either. Laura
  2. thanks for this link! if nothing else, having a hard copy will make it easies to recreate. Laura
  3. planning page? If possible, I would really appreciate it. I like the way yours looks, and it would save me a great deal if I did not have to recreate it:) Thanks, Laura
  4. and answering it! I too am looking very seriously at LL and WT next year for my (to be) 3rd graders- I was thinking that I did not need an extra grammar program:) Laura
  5. my kids are reading chapter books, and doing better then their Mom on learning the phonograms, so, i think, based on your responses, that I am ok just doing SWR- but a little ETC would not hurt :) Laura
  6. I am hs my 7.5 yo triplets (ggb) with a 4th (6 yo boy) in ps kindergarten. my dh is very supportive and we love raising our kids in the country, in the beautiful Pacific NW. we are new to hs, so I am trying to get in a grove... I seem to spend more time second guessing myself and getting overwhelmed by all of the amazing options. Laura
  7. I am doing SWR with my 2nd graders and I am just wondering if I should be using ETC also? Do the 2 compliment each other? I want to reinforce the phonics and beyond drilling them and an occasional game of phonogram BINGO, I am not doing much. Just want to cover my bases. Laura
