ATFF or TC to supplement CAP?

I can only speak of TC. No diagramming. The grammar work is mostly in the first (of three) sections and it is parsing vs. diagramming. My kids are used to diagramming & found TC's way of labeling much more useful and easy to do. I used TC as a program on its own vs. a supplement. One of mine will move into CAP's W&R Narrative 2 this fall.

CAP does teach outlining, but some people have found how they teach it to be unhelpful, confusing, or other.

Thank you to both responses. I am really interested in TC after reading reviews that it will teach a child to outline and create paragraphs. My plan is to use it in between Fable and Narrative.

I also have the IEW ATFF on hand (a gift) and I would want to know if it teaches outlining and creating paragraph as easy or understandable as TC.

If not, then I will just purchase TC and ditch ATFF.
