koko
I just read through the other recent SL post on using SL's high school cores and really appreciate it. I am looking to switch from TOG (which we've done for the past 5 years and have really enjoyed, but need something different for awhile) to SL next year. I will have two elementary ds and my 12th grade ds, who I was planning to have use SL 400. Any input on this for a first-time SLer AND as a solid high school core? AngieW in Texas
I have been a long-time SL user, but I don't like their high school Cores (100 and 300 are the two I've used) and won't use them again at that level. I'm switching all my kids to Oak Meadow for history at the high school level.
Chris in VA
Plan on supplementing the literary commentary. We did Sonlight 300 before it was revised last year, and I was stunned to see almost half the books had no questions, commentary, assignments, nothing.
