Penny
A really good map with the cities and waterways, etc. Reading this without is frustrating!!!!
Julie in GA
It has map insets, explanations and photographs in the margins. The text is the full, unabridged text, and most of the maps and diagrams date from the time period of the story. The ISBN# is 0-670-86793-4 HTH,
Penny
That's the book I'm reading from! It does not have the map! OK, it has little bitty ancient maps which don't have all the locations listed and are very difficult to read.
Brindee
THis looks interesting, though it may not be what you want: http://www.palinstravels.co.uk/static-7 Some more ideas: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Around_the_World_in_Eighty_Days_map.png http://jhcckkm.wordpress.com/2007/11/08/map-and-game-resource-for-around-the-world-in-80-days/
abbeyej
I looked around for such a thing last year when we were reading the book. We followed along on our globe, etc, but I would have *happily* paid to buy a pretty, full-color map (or series of maps) that followed the journey! Penny
Thanks, I guess such a thing doesn't exist. Where is that mom who wants to know where the holes are in the homeschooling market????? Penny
Julie in GA
You're right -- now that I think back, I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't just look at one big map. Hmm - maybe the boys and I will have to make one!
