Jennifer Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 I would like to start giving my 9yo chocolate lab buffered aspirin to help with his osteoarthritis. Online research found a recommendation for 10mg/lb body weight every 12 hours. He's 90 lbs, so that would be 1800mg a day! Doesn't that seem high? Do you have another recommended dose?
