KIN
My dc will be in 4th, 2nd and K next fall. We will be ready for SOTW 4. I do use Biblioplan, so I'll have age appropriate books for them. But there aren't any coloring pages in the AG. What did you do to make up for the lack of early activities in the AG?
Lovedtodeath
Add some early activities from the Hideaways in History Hands-on book, or from an american history program?
Julie in MN
We've done 4 chapters in SOTW-4. My son's older, but we've had plenty of hands-on. He built the Ice Palace out of cardstock (Queen Victoria), he timed his pulse & other vitals for a week of "medical records" (Florence Nightengale), and he loaded "rifles" in the old way & the new Enfield way using flour & tinfoil balls (Sepoys). I would allow LOTS of time for the hands-on, and do way less of the paperwork. They'll get the details again later. JMHO
