Amy loves Bud
I just "friended" my brother on Facebook. The brother with whom I haven't spoken since my father's funeral in 2001. It's just bizarre. That's all.
katemary63
I hear ya. I'm, for all practical purposes, estranged from my biological father. He has a 17 year old son whom I've only seen 2 times in my life and not since he was 10. I am friends with him on facebook! I'm pretty sure our "dad" doesn't know. It is weird too. Amy loves Bud
Plus there are these people I don't actually know (either IRL or fairly well on the internet) asking to friend me. Like the owner of the local art studio?! I'm not sure I've even ever met her in real life. I only recognize her name because it comes on advertisements in the mail. I ignored her. The internet, Facebook in particular, can be a very odd place.
Hillary in KS
Facebook friending is odd. I have more Facebook friends from high school than I had *actual* friends *in* high school. It is nice touching base with them, though.:001_smile:
laurafrantz
Yes. I friended my sister that I've seen once in 15 years, then felt hurt all over again when she didn't reply to my wall postings. Insanity. Be careful :).
