Danestress
Colleen mentioned in another tread that we should switch from linear mode to Hybrid. THANK YOU Colleen. That answered a lot of questions. The only thing is, in the space that shows an outline of posts, I can't scroll down to see the whole outline, if you will. That rectangle of text spills over on the right side beyond a natural margin, so I can't really see the far right, and I can't find anything to allow me to scroll through the outline and see later posts. In otherword, I can see all the posts themselves with correct margins, but I can't get the outline of posts set right. Any tips? Thank you. Colleen
Yes, that box gets unwieldy because our dearly beloved admins refuse to set character limits for the subject lines. (Ahem.;)) In order to scroll through the posts themselves, click on the box, anywhere other than on a subject line. Just click on some blank space within the box, in other words. You should then be able to scroll up and down using either the wheel on your mouse or the arrow keys on your keyboard. Let us know if that works for you. PariSarah
Yes, that box gets unwieldy because our dearly beloved admins refuse to set character limits for the subject lines. Is that what's going on? I thought it had something to do with "quick reply" vs. regular reply. There are limits to what I can put in the "Title" box in regular reply. But in quick reply, there's no title box, so the whole post becomes the subject line. At least, that's what I thought was going on.
Queen_Zarga
If you people would use a *real* browser (Ahem), you would have an honest-to-goodness scroll bar up top, like it should be. Download Firefox
