ummtafari
I just received the Human Anatomy Coloring Book by Margaret Matt. This was the one recommened in WTM. The bookstore told me it was for ages 7 and up, but it is way too detailed and difficult for a 6 yo and 8 yo. Needless to say, they are very disappointed and so am I! Does anyone have any other recommendations of coloring books for this level either online or for purchase?

laure
I don't have the exact title. But several years ago, we purchased a science workbook from Wal-mart or Sam's Club that had a section on human anatomy. The instructions required that you get butcher paper and have each child lie on it and have their outline drawn. They can then, add their hair, facial features. Then you study each body system and the workbook had drawings of lungs, heart, kidneys, stomach, etc. for the kids to color, cut out and put in place on their body. Our children loved it. I hope to find it again. Laure
ummtafari
Well, I found some coloring pages on http://www.edupics.com/en-coloring-pages-pictures-photo-human-body-c130.htm http://www.crayola.com/free-coloring-pages/science/human-body-coloring-pages/ So, I guess I will put together my own book.
