threeturn
If I want to make these ahead of time for tomorrow can I put them in the fridge after the second rise (when they are cut and filled) and put them in the oven tomorrow? I didn't want to try to bake in the morning. Thanks!!
asta
You mean put them in the fridge for the second rise, don't you? I make my dough, let it rise, punch it down, let it rest, roll it out, fill it, roll it up, cut it into pieces, put it into the pan (in the butter/sugar mix), cover the pan with wax paper, and then put it into the fridge. By morning, the rolls are risen. I take them out an hour ahead of time so they can "warm up" before going into the oven. They rise a bit more on the counter. Merry Christmas! asta

DB in NJ
I do the same, but I put mine in the garage instead of the fridge. There's more room out there ;) MERRY CHRISTMAS!
