Basic Handwriting Resource (feel like there should be a way to make this)

You know how in handwriting workbooks, they'll have a version of the letter with the arrows/guides to show formation and it's position relative to the top-, mid- and baseline?

I want a book with a full page letter model.

  • each letter is on a single page
  • the letter formation is shown
  • the topline, midline and baseline are shown
  • color would be preferable, but at this point I'll take black and white

I feel like this resource should exist and definitely should not be so hard to find.

Rhythm of Handwriting doesn’t exactly meet what you’re looking for, but is closer than most handwriting resources. It has large models with stroke formation and nearly full page space to practice first with large motions. This links to the sample: https://assets.logicofenglish.com/downloads/roh-sample-manuscript

Eta: Oh, and they have 8”x8” cards that meet your qualifications: https://store.logicofenglish.com/collections/rhythm-of-handwriting/products/classroom-wall-strips-manuscript

These two don't have the lines but they are meant for toddlers to touch.

On making your own, my friend made this when she was a teacher. You can add extra return lines to change the width of the guidelines as you see fit. Then you can have a giant spaced lines at the top then write out the letter and the sequence arrows.  The downside is this sheet isn't automated so you have to handwrite the letters/words you want in there. I actually like handwriting some of this stuff for my children because I think they get a better sense of how to form the letter watching me do it.
