Clarita
I'm going to have a first grader and kindergartner. What does it look like to do First Language Lessons with both? Would I just do all the levels twice or does the younger one just move at the older one's pace with more help?
Miss Tick
When I did FLL with my twins we just did it together, or alternated questions. It is gentle and there is enough repetition that I would think you could do it simultaneously with both (and I would be defeated at the thought of doing it twice). I had a separate folder where I kept copies of memory work like grammar chants, "rules" and poems. That way it was easy to have review days occasionally, or to look up whatever random thing we were stuck on. I also worked in The Sentence Family in between levels at one point (later) for more diagramming practice. In retrospect the diagramming practice was particularly helpful when we later worked on Latin and then German. Already understanding objects vs subjects in a sentence saved a lot of hassle.
