El... Posted August 30, 2022 Share Posted August 30, 2022 Anybody studying Danish? Please help! My ds11 is studying Danish using duolingo. He's learning quite a bit of vocabulary. He's trying to put sentence parts in the Danish order. He doesn't intuit the patterns, and the trial and error teaching method isn't working. He prefers explicit instruction, no matter what he's learning. He's going to try Mango next month. I think he also needs a grammar textbook, or a grammar-based course. It doesn't have to be aimed at kids, though that's nice; I'll be sitting with him and can break it down some. I appreciate your ideas! Janeway Posted August 31, 2022 Share Posted August 31, 2022 I have a bunch of old Danish books, some which might be textbooks, some which are definitely a Bible and another is a part of a Bible. I can’t read them though. My grandmother and that entire generation could have. I know this does nothing at all to help you.
