*Jessica* Posted June 27, 2022 Share Posted June 27, 2022 My son is spending three weeks in Holderness, NH with a couple of very close family friends. They are staying in the in-law suite of some of the other boys’ relatives and helping with some work in exchange for their lodging. When they aren’t working or doing their online college classes they will be sailing on Squam Lake and mountain biking. None of the boys have their license yet, though, and we don’t want to impose on the hosts for rides more than is absolutely necessary. Is anyone familiar with the area and what might be available in terms of transportation? It looks like they’ll be about 9 miles from the marina, which might be doable on bike depending on what the roads/traffic are like and what kind of elevation changes there are. But after chopping wood, biking 9 miles, and sailing I’m not sure how much energy they’ll have to bike home! LOL Their mother and I will be driving them there on Saturday, spending Sunday getting them all set up and exploring the area, then driving home Monday leaving them to have grand adventures.
