It's the publishing arm of Bob Jones University, IOW, pretty much the same as BJUP, but, you know, with a different name. It's been a very long time since I saw Purposeful Design materials, but I remember that the ones I picked up and held in my hands had very pricey teacher guides, and they required lots of direct teaching. I know, we're homeschooling and we are "supposed" to do lots of direct teaching. 🙂 But these **required** it for *most* subjects. And they were **pricey,** and IMHO, not worth it. But here's the thing: Have *you* seen the materials with your own eyeballs? What did *you* think? Can you visualize yourself doing it with *your* children? That's the most important thing.
