In Chapter 4 it describes a mummification process taking place on an Old Kingdom Pharaoh which was not thought to have been used until the New Kingdom (an error which never really bothered me). But anyways, at least part of the New Kingdom mummification process has recently been found used on an Old Kingdom mummy (MAYBE...or the mummy may have been from someone who came later, who used a borrowed tomb...they are waiting on carbon dating to rule that out).
