deeannch Posted August 2, 2021 Share Posted August 2, 2021 we used art read for my daughter (now 19) and son (16). they both liked them and did well in math. (daughter was a national merit finalist, although she is stronger in english than in math) she would watch the videos and do the math pretty independently. my son is finally whizzing though math as well with the videos. (i sit with him to keep him focused and he calls out the answer to each question as he does it and if he gets it wrong, he corrects it right then.) We have gone from taking 1-2 hours per lesson to 30-45 minutes with 0-2 mistakes per lesson. they seem to like the dvds and he is pretty clear in his explanations.
