Ottakee Posted April 21, 2020 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Bit of history I am almost 50. 18 months no cycle. Nov 2018 heavy cycle. Doctor gave Provera....Did ultrasound, blood work, etc. All fine April 2019 very light cycle Dec 2019 very light cycle April 2020 heavier cycle, cramping, etc. Lasted 5 days, stopped for 3 and restarted. After 4 days into that Doctor gave me 10mg of Provera daily for 10 days. Nothing has really changed. I now have added more hot flashes and cramping but no slow down in flow (which isn't heavy but annoying) . Any experience with this? I did message the doctor and she is very good about getting back to me quickly. It is just last time the Provera worked in 1-2 days Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
almondbutterandjelly Posted April 21, 2020 Share Posted April 21, 2020 Well, it's been awhile since I've had provera, but I can tell you that when I started bcp after no periods for quite awhile, I bled for a month and a half.
