Bootsie Posted April 5, 2020 Share Posted April 5, 2020 I have heard some universities are considering a delayed start to the fall semester. For universities, I think a lot will depend on their demographics--are most students local? How many foreign students? How many live on campus? Also, I think it will depend on their dorm setups; those that have more single rooms with baths or apartment style housing may find it easier to reopen. What I think may happen is that universities go to a both/and model where some classes are in-person but professors are expected to make accommodations for those who cannot be on campus, which, as a professor I dread thinking about.
