LisaKinVA
In my basement apartment, there are glimmers of hope... My husband removed all of the tools from the 2' space between the end of our bed and the wall -- I can now walk unencumbered in our bedroom. We cleaned our closet, under the beds, everything has been dusted and swept. I woke up this morning and wanted to make my bed, because the room looked so nice! My children's bedroom is neat and tidy -- no legos, dirty clothes or other miscellaneous items are all over the floor. The bookshelves are organized! You can sit and walk in our family room (again, without legos, toys or miscellaneous items all over). We can have school in peace! My bathroom is clean, the dishes are clean -- and we only have two glaringly areas in need of attention left down here. The "office" space and the toy storage, soon to be baby-corner room. Our home may actually be in really good order well before Christmas! Oh, and my Christmas shopping is essentially DONE too! Now... to tackle the laundry monster :tongue_smilie:
Jean in Newcastle
Doesn't that make you feel so good! I think making progress in these areas leads to more progress. Great job!
Once
Way to go! We are taming the clutter monster here as well. I want to be ready for the Christmas chaos because I like to relax that time of year. Keeping it up is always easier when the hard stuff is done.
