alisoncooks Posted April 30, 2019 Share Posted April 30, 2019 I'm tempted by Science Shepherd for my rising 6th grader. She's not really done a ton of science -- mostly interest-led. She's not a strong reader, either. Sci Shepherd looks good....but it's soooo basic. Like, 2nd grade level, right? I need something just a titch more involved/in-depth, but nowhere near Apologia/BJU. Neutral world view is best, but we can swing either way in curriculum. We've done Mystery Science, so not that. After 8 years of hs'ing, I feel like I've seen most that's out there.
