I think I would honestly be pretty furious if our local library ended up with a Wii. Our state is among the last in library funding, so if money was going to a gaming system when there are a zillion other places it should go instead, I'd be miffed. I'm already annoyed when grown adults who work there decide to stand around the desk and loudly share (apparently) hilarious stories in full hearing of half the library and then cackle. Did I mention, loudly? :glare: A library is not a rec center. A library should be quiet. It should primarily be a place to find books and other educational materials, and to study or read. JMO.
