I am looking to supplement her writing and grammar with an online course either after school or during weekends. I'd like hear from parents whose children have taken the giftedandtalented/EPGY English Language and Writing/ELW course with the tutor option. She took the independent study 4th grade ELW course over the summer. Though she liked it, I think she got a bit bored. She also complained that her writing is restricted because of the limited word bank for paragraph writing assignments. So I thought having feedback from a tutor would be encouraging for her. Is the tutor option worth the money. Alternatively I am considering CTY grammar and writing courses starting next summer. Any feedback from the wonderful parents on the board is much appreciated. Janeway Posted September 9, 2017 Share Posted September 9, 2017 We did an EPGY course once and I felt we wasted our money. Maybe that was just that course, but I won't do EPGY again.
