benzino
We'll be finishing up this great book in a few weeks and any recommendations for the next step? I am not overly concerned with tenses at this point due to young age and am more looking for furthering the love of language. I'll spend maybe 20 minutes/day max. Miss Tick
I assume you ate finishing Getting Started With Latin, and not his follow-up program for older learners. We moved to the Big Book of Lively Latin. We have spent three years moving through the two books. I think that is a typical pace at this age. It has been great for us. Very incremental, colorful, lots of Roman history. We do about two sides of a page per lesson. There are lesson videos online but we've never used then. We do listen to her .mp3 recordings of new vocabulary. We are alllmost done, and younger dd will do GSWL this year and start BBoLL next year. Perhaps by the time she is done I will finally have the thus person pronouns memorized!
