Piano Wizard?

We bought it last year from HSBC. I wanted to love it and it sounded so good but it just hasn't really taken here. I don't like the game play and the sound quality is a pain. We still haven't gotten it right. Due to some of the poorer features of the program my kids just have not enjoyed it and it has frustrated them. I played through a lot of it so I could get a sense of what they didn't like and I didn't care for it. I am not sure if our midi keyboard is to blame or what. We have also had freezing issues and at one point our notes that move up the screen disappeared.

We might not be a great example so hopefully other people chime in. We did take a break from it and move to actual lessons which they love so much more. There is also some free piano programs I have heard mentioned here so I might give those a try.

I know this isn't what you're asking, but my library gives free access to www.artistworks.com

I only mention it because your's might too. My son takes guitar lessons through it and it's very good (he uses Paul Gilbert- rock guitar lessons). I don't know if the other classes are good but I do know there are a ton of choices and styles!

Anyway, it's free so I thought it was worth sharing.

ETA- the library access doesn't include feedback from the instructor, just access to the lessons- which works fine for us).
