...................
Hi, I wonder if it is customary to pay or do things for the instructor when one goes to a show? We of course will be paying hauling fees but other than the show fees and hotel they haven't said anything. Is it customary to buy their lunch, as a way to say thank you, or stuff like that? I get the impression that this is their way of having fun and continuing to grow their own business and their own skills in teaching and riding- in fact both of her instructors will be riding in the show themselves, so I get the impression nothing is expected of us except a big thank you. But I just want to be sure!
regentrude
Some trainers charge a coaching fee for their coaching on the day of the show. Ours mostly didn't. Nothing was expected except a good attitude, helping out with show related chores, helping the other riders.
