Need to buy a tux for DS. Anyone know what the sleeve length is on a 36R coat?

He is gone for three days, and I just found out about needing a tux for an upcoming performance he has next week. (Not his fault. The director failed to communicate expectations in a timely manner.)

 

He has a 29 inch waist, and wears a 14 or 14.5 slim cut dress shirt which has a 32" sleeve length. I am seeing a couple of places online with good deals that can get it here in time if I buy today or tomorrow, and have questions out to customer service, but wondered if someone here knew.

My husband wears Lands End formal blazer. For 36R, the size chart says

Regular Arm Length 32 1/2 - 33"

 

I would call Macy's customer service men dept. They sell tuxedos and can measure for you from the brands on their racks.

Thanks. I will see if Macy's has anyone who can help. The one closest to us kind of has bad service. 

 

But the Land's End measurement would work if that is industry standard.

Macy has the same measurement on their online size chart for a random tuxedo I picked.

Thanks Arcadia. I just called. 36R has a 32 inch sleeve so since three major retailers have confirmed it, I think it is standard.

Just wanted to say check Groupon. I've been seeing ads for skinny tuxes there. Bought both of my boys skinny suits and they were wonderful. I think the tux was like $79
